San Francisco is one of the biggest and brightest cultural hubs in the world, and it has the museums to show for it. The city’s museums are some of the best, and between incredible art displays from around the world to interactive science exhibits, there’s something for everyone. These are five of the city’s best:

Discovered in 1974 outside of Xi'an by a group of farmers, China's Terracotta Warriors are one of the country's most iconic symbols. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army features 2,000-year-old life-sized sculptures of warriors and horses, intended to represent Emperor Qin Shi Huan's imperial guard. Archaeologists believe the army was created to protect the Emperor in his afterlife.
Shanghai and Beijing are two of China’s most famous cities, and it’s not hard to see why. Each offer some incredible sights to see, but there’s so much more to China outside of these places.
Xi’an, Hangzhou, and Suzhou are three cities I visited during my trip to China, and I fell a little in love with each of them. If you’re looking for something just slightly off the beaten path, start by looking at these three. It's the tail end of the holiday season, and whatever your spiritual path is or what holidays you do or don't celebrate, I hope you had a wonderful time. Now, with the new year (by Gregorian calendar standards) upon us, the season of resolutions is upon us.
In this new year, there are plenty of things I want to focus on: increasing my happiness and abundance through gratitude and the law of attraction; improving my spiritual life; continuing working towards publishing my books; moving forward with this blog and my artistic endeavors; and, of course, travel! I always start thinking more about travel during this time of year, so I thought this was the perfect time to share with you twelve of my favorite inspirational travel quotes that are sure to fuel your wanderlust. Whether you're planning a week abroad, a day trip, or even a staycation, these quotes always remind me of the beauty of travel...and the beauty of discovering new places to love in my area, too. My afternoon in Half-Moon Bay was one of the most delightful, relaxing afternoons I’ve had in a long time. It was just what I needed to reboot and get back to a healthy state of mind. It also reminded me of a very important lesson: you don’t need to go on long, lavish trips to have a great experience; sometimes, the best experiences are lurking only an hour away.
The wind whistles among the trees on the henge and past sun-warmed stones. They stand steadfast as they have done since the time the great Pyramids of Giza were built, evoking the same feelings of wonder as they did in a time thousands of years ago.
Near the heart of Wiltshire, England, in a tiny town called Avebury, lies the largest stone circle in Britain. Combined with Stonehenge, the Avebury Henge and Stone Circles make up the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site. They’re both incredible in their own ways, but honestly? I think Avebury is better. No, seriously. Better than Stonehenge.

The size of Delaware, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is one of the largest parks in Utah. With so much to see and do, it can be easy to get overwhelmed, particularly if you’re not spending very much time here. However, there are still ways to make the most of your trip, even if you’re only in this wonderful park for a day.
Hi, everybody! I hope you're all having a nice start to the work week. Today, I thought I would share a small, simple tutorial for how I go about painting ferns. Some of you may have already seen it if you've been following me on Pinterest for a while, but I thought it would be fun to share this with the rest of you, too! So, without further adieu, the tutorial:
